Shipping Insurance Protection
3 Brothers Liquor offers optional Shipping Insurance Protection at checkout. This protection must be purchased at the time of order and is designed to cover issues caused by the carrier during transit.
Shipping Insurance Protection is not automatic.
What Shipping Insurance Covers
When Shipping Insurance Protection is purchased, 3 Brothers Liquor will cover:

Packages lost in transit and confirmed by the carrier

Broken, damaged, or leaked bottles caused during carrier handling
-
Carrier-confirmed damage or delivery errors
Coverage is subject to proper documentation and claim review.
What Shipping Insurance Does NOT Cover
Shipping Insurance Protection does not cover:

Damage or leakage caused after delivery
-
Opened, consumed, or tampered bottles
-
Missing contents without evidence of transit damage
-
Claims where packaging or contents were discarded prior to inspection

Claims submitted without required documentation
Claims & Documentation Requirements
All claims must be reported within 48 hours of delivery and include:

Photos of the outside shipping box (all sides, including shipping label)

Photos of the inside of the box and all packaging materials
-
Photos of the bottle showing damage, leakage, or fill level
-
Any carrier damage notification or markings, if applicable
⚠️ All original packaging and contents must be retained until the claim is fully resolved. The carrier may require inspection or pickup.
High-Value & Limited-Edition Items
For high-value or limited-edition bottles, additional verification may be required, including:

Multiple photo angles or video evidence

Carrier inspection confirmation
-
Return of damaged merchandise if requested
Refunds or replacements for high-value items will not be issued until the carrier claim process is completed.
Orders Shipped Without Shipping Insurance
Orders placed without Shipping Insurance Protection ship entirely at the customer’s risk.
3 Brothers Liquor is not responsible for:

Lost packages

Broken, damaged, or leaked bottles

Theft after delivery
-
Carrier mishandling or delays
Customers who decline Shipping Insurance must pursue any loss, damage, or leakage claims directly with the carrier.
Resolution Process (Insured Orders Only)
Once a shipping insurance claim is reviewed:

Approved claims will result in a replacement or refund, at our discretion, based on inventory availability

Denied claims due to insufficient documentation or non-covered circumstances will not be refunded or replaced
Final Notice
Shipping Insurance Protection applies only to carrier-caused issues. False, misleading, or incomplete claims may result in denial and account restrictions.
